Summit Entertainment just released a press release saying that they will releases Divergent in IMAX when it hits theaters on March 21, 2014.
SAN DIEGO, July 18, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — IMAX Corporation IMAX -0.51% CA:IMX -0.49% and Summit Entertainment, a Lionsgate LGF +0.40% company, today announced that Divergent, the first installment of the futuristic action-adventure trilogy based on Veronica Roth’s The New York Times bestselling novels, will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX� format and released in IMAX� theatres worldwide beginning March 21, 2014.

The IMAX release of Divergent will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience� with proprietary IMAX DMR� (Digital Re-mastering) technology.
