Ansel Elgort, Theo James & Miles Teller make @Variety’s list for ‘Young Hollywood’s Rising Stars’!

Ansel Elgort(Caleb), Theo James(Four) and Miles Teller(Peter) have all made Variety’s list for Young Hollywood’s Rising Stars.

Check out what they said about Ansel, Miles and Theo:

Ansel Elgort
It’s only fitting that breakout star Ansel Elgort is reuniting with established “it girl” Shailene Woodley for one of the year’s most hotly anticipated blockbusters, “The Fault in Our Stars” – his second YA adaptation of the year. The model-turned-actor first turned heads last year in Kimberly Peirce’s “Carrie” reimagining and has been building a loyal fanbase since being cast as Augustus Waters in “TFIOS.”

Theo James
After starring in the now-cancelled CBS cop drama “Golden Boy,” Theo James hit it big with “Divergent.” The hit YA novel’s rabid fanbase is shipping a real-life relationship between James and costar Woodley, like “Twilight” fans once did with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. The 29-year-old has “Insurgent” and “Allegiant” hitting theaters between 2015 and 2017. He will star opposite Johnny Depp in the thriller “London Fields” later this year.

Miles Teller
Another Woodley costar, another actor in hot demand. Teller’s career has taken off since appearing in “Footloose” in 2011. He’s landed some of the most coveted young adult roles of the last few years, including starring in the critically acclaimed dramedy “The Spectacular Now,” the hit franchise “Divergent” and the upcoming “Fantastic Four” movies. He’s also had his share of comedies, including the upcoming “Two Night Stand,” “That Awkward Moment” and “21 & Over.”

‘INSURGENT’ is Slated to Begin Production in May!

Divergent

Divergent hits theaters in a little over a month and the sequels Insurgent and Allegiant already have release dates.

Variety is reporting that Insurgent is set to begin production in May.

Here is Variety’s report:

Lionsgate will launch production on “Insurgent,” the sequel to Shailene Woodley’s “Divergent,” in May — two months after the release of the first film.

Production company Red Wagon Entertainment made the disclosure Monday as part of its announcement that it has hired Nicki Cortese as VP of film and TV. She’s served in the same slot at Akiva Goldsman’s Weed Road Pictures for the past five years.

Lionsgate announced last week that Goldsman had come on board to work on the script for “Insurgent” after Brian Duffield worked on the initial script. Variety reported in December that “Divergent” director Neil Burger would not helm “Insurgent” and that Lionsgate has yet to tap a new director.

Lionsgate will release”Divergent” on March 21, followed by “Insurgent” on March 20, 2015 and “Allegiant” on March 18, 2016.  The “Divergent” franchise — released via its Summit brand — is viewed as a key to Lionsgate’s strategy to lead in the young-adult genre, following the successes of Summit’s five “Twilight” films and Lionsgate’s first two “Hunger Games.”

Insurgent is slated to hit theaters on March 20, 2015.

Are you guys excited?
