New ‘Insurgent’ trailer to debut on Sunday and final poster revealed!

At just 50 days away from ‘The Divergent Series: Insurgent’ we have great news: the official Divergent account on Twitter posted a video today, featuring Shailene Woodley and announcing that a new ‘Insurgent’ trailer will come out this Sunday during the Super Bowl Pre-Game Show!

Also, MTV revealed the final poster for the movie, which shows Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) defying reality!

The image will also make for the cover of the new hard-cover editions of the book:

See Tris, Four and Peter in this new ‘Insurgent’ still!

Yes, Initiates! We got another still of Tris, Four and Peter, this time in Amity! As everyone is carrying food, we guess they are in the cafeteria (trying the Amity bread?) with Four and Peter about to get into a fight.

The still was revealed yesterday by LA Times, with the following plot: “In the ruins of futuristic Chicago, rebels battle a power-hungry cabal.”

New DIVERGENT Still Featuring Tris Preparing to Jump into Dauntless Compound!

We recently got a trailer for Divergent and we’ve been on cloud 9 ever since.

Today I believe we just got bumped up.to cloud 10 because Summit has released a brand new still from the Divergent trailer of Tris. The still features Shailene Woodley as Tris preparing to jump into the Dauntless Compound.

Divergent just released a brand new Divergent still featuring Tris and Four climbing up the ferris wheel.

How great is this still? A very pivotal scene for Tris and Four.

‘DIVERGENT’ in LA Times article featuring new still of Shailene Woodley as Tris!

Divergent is featured in a new article on the LA Times website where they discuss strong female leads. The article also talks about Clary Fray from The Mortal Instruments, Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games and Petra from Ender’s Game. Shailene Woodley talks women advocates.

“I’m a very strong advocate of taking charge and being a wild woman,” said Shailene Woodley, who stars in next year’s “Divergent.” Set in a dystopian future Chicago, Veronica Roth’s series of novels center on a world where teens are herded together based on specific skills and attributes — when 16-year-old Beatrice Prior finds herself gifted in multiple areas, she’s labeled as an outcast, one who finds herself in a position to affect the future of humanity.

“I think it’s really profound that right now there are so many opportunities in film that depict young women as strong, courageous and taking care of themselves,” said Woodley, who will play Beatrice in the Neil Burger-directed film.

“You can relate this to a lot of cultures today where women aren’t allowed to speak their minds,” said Woodley, calling from the “Divergent” set, weeks before production was set to wrap. “It doesn’t seem like a reality for someone growing up in the U.S., but even in our world there are so many boundaries of what women can and can’t do.”

New ‘DIVERGENT’ set photos of the Prior family, factionless, Dauntless and more from @mamason0725 & @AshMason15

Yesterday Divergent filmed the cast entering the Choosing Ceremony. Thanks to @mamason0725 abd @AshMason15 for sharing their photos with us.

The photos feature the Prior family, Tony Goldwyn, Ashley Judd, Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort as Andrew, Natalie, Beatrice and Caleb Prior. The pictures also contain the factions including Dauntless, Erudite, Candor, Amity, Abnegation and the Factionless.
