See ‘INSURGENT’ Character Portraits Featuring Tris, Four, Jeanine and more + Interviews!

Entertainment Weekly has just revealed 5 exclusive character portraits for Insurgent featuring Tris, Four, Jeanine, Johanna and Evelyn.

EW also interviewed Shailene Woodley(Tris) and Theo James(Four).

Shailene Woodley told EW:

“She’s left with a lot of confusion as far as what the future holds. But she’s also left with a lot of guilt from the war, from losing her parents and from Will, so you see a newfound strength in her for revenge, as well as a lot of internal battles that she’s trying to weave her way around.”

Theo James also spoke of Insurgent:

“In this movie, I wanted it to be clear that obviously things have changed and he’s fallen in love with Shai’s character, but at the same time, he’s still the same man. So I don’t want him to suddenly be like Prince Charming or something. So when you first meet him, he is trying to protect her at the beginning of the movie, and calm her, and make sure she doesn’t make any mistakes. But at the same time, they’re fugitives in this faction that they shouldn’t be in, and he knows that they’ve got to move quickly. And then all hell breaks loose.”

Head over to Entertainment Weekly to read the full interview with Shailene Woodley and Theo James.

Kate Winslet covers the November issue of Marie Claire UK

Our beloved Kate Winslet (who plays Erudite leader Jeanine Matthews) covers the November issue of Marie Claire UK magazine and she looks flawless in it, though she may not think the same:

“I had a terrible bout of acne after I turned 30” she tells us. “I kept reading about my sodding dewy complexion and thinking, ‘Oh shit, look at me, I’m covered in bloody spots, proper cystic bumps, if only they knew…'”

On her relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio: “I think the reason that friendship works is because there was never any romantic thing, […] It’s so disappointing for people to hear that, because in the soap opera of the Kate and Leo story we fell in love at first sight and had a million snogs, but actually we never did. He always saw me as one of the boys; I’ve never really been a girly-girl. We needed each other to lean on because we were very young and working all kinds of crazy bloody hours and it was a shock to the system.'”

On being a working mother: “The thing for me personally that is a difficult transition is that my life at home is just so different to my life at work. It doesn’t matter which of the two is harder, it’s the emotional – rather than logistic—jump from one place to another that’s difficult. The juggling of it all…”

We believe that, Kate, no matter how you look like or how many years may pass, you’ll always be this incredible woman that we admire!

Kate Winslet talks shooting ‘DIVERGENT’ after giving birth with @EW!

This week is Candor week so lots of interviews with the Divergent cast will be popping up for the rest of the week. Yesterday Ansel Elgort talked about how he got the role of Caleb with MTV. Today Kate Winslet is talking to Entertainment Weekly about shooting Divergent after she had given birth.

In Divergent, we see Kate Winslet as we’ve never really seen her before — playing the cold and rather ruthless antagonist Jeanine Matthews — and that’s exactly why she took the part. “I was sent a lovely letter by [director] Neil Burger,” she says. “It came with a gigantic packet of Divergent info. I hadn’t heard of the book at that point, and so I devoured it immediately. And on reading it, frankly, I wanted to play a baddie! It’s something I have never done.”

But Winslet, who gave birth to her son last December, had also never come back to set just weeks after giving birth, as the Oscar-winner did earlier this year. “Coming back to set post-baby was a little bit like wheeling a cow into a straitjacket. I felt like an obscure and absurd marshmallow with udders!” she says. “It was actually OK. Once I got over the delight that my costumes still fit — apart from the boob area, which had to be relaxed by about a meter — it was all good. And I felt alive and less foggy-brained than I had whilst we were shooting and I was pregnant. I felt as though my senses had come back to life.”

WATCH: Final ‘DIVERGENT’ Trailer released!

Yesterday we got a tease of the new trailer from DIVERGENT. Today we just got the full trailer from BuzzFeed.

Watch the brand new Divergent trailer right now:

DIVERGENT FACTION Reaction to final trailer:

The trailer is everything that I’ve ever hoped for. Once Tris is injected for the aptitude test by Tori that’s when the action starts. In the trailer we see the dog simulation and then Tori of course tells Tris her results were inconclusive. In this trailer we see more of my favorite characters Tori(Maggie Q) and Natalie Prior(Ashley Judd). We also get to see a little bit of Tris and Natalie at Visiting day. I get so sad seeing anything that involves Natalie Prior. We also get a better glimpse at Tris heading over to Erudite headquarters. Tris’ simulations when she’s in the tank and when she’s with the crows look great. The part of the trailer that got me the most excited was when Tris and the other Dauntless Initiates ran out of the Choosing Ceremony and were heading for the trains. This is when her journey truly starts. It’s the first day of the rest of her life and that makes be so excited. I can truly tell that this movie will be absolutely amazing! There is no doubt in my mind that it will do great.

Initiates what did you think of the final Divergent trailer? Are you excited to see Divergent on March 21st? What is your favorite part of the trailer? Share your reactions in the comments below.
