Looking for the next YA movie sensation? This week, EW offers an exclusive first look at the making of Divergent, based on Veronica Roth’s dystopian YA best-seller. The movie’s set in a futuristic Chicago, and stars one of Hollywood’s fastest-rising young actresses, Shailene Woodley (The Descendants), who’s also snagged the Mary Jane role in the Amazing Spider-Man franchise and the lead in the adaptation of another beloved bestseller, The Fault in Our Stars.

Jai Courtney on Shailene Woodley: “She’s going to be such a big f - - -ing star.”

Thanks to @epnebelle we have a look at the inside of the magazine.

Happy Birthday @TonyGoldwyn!!

photo (41)

Today is Tony Goldwyn’s 53rd birthday!

If you are unfamiliar with Mr. Goldwyn’s acting career let me fill you in on it.

His acting debut was in Friday the 13th Part VI Jason Lives. He also starred in Ghost alongside Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg. If his voice sounds familiar that is because he played the voice of Tarzan by Disney. He has also had guest rols on other shows like Dexter, The L Word, Grey’s Anatomy and The Good Wife. He is now starring in the hit show SCANDAL on ABC alongside Kerry Washington, which just got picked up for a third season.\

Tony will be playing Tris’ dad, Andrew Prior in the upcoming film adaptation of Veronica Roth’s bestselling novel Divergent. He is currently filming the movie in Chicago.

Let’s all wish or Mr. Prior a Happy Birthday.

Once again Happy Birthday Tony Goldwyn!

ABC just renewed Scandal. Our Andrew Prior, Tony Goldwyn, plays President Fitzgerald Thomas Grant III.

If you haven’t seen Scandal I suggest you watch it. It is full of “scandals”.

Learn more about Scandal:

The Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn political thriller broke out in its sophomore season, hitting a series high during Thursday’s hour. The fast-paced series from Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes has become the water-cooler show of the season thanks to a dedicated cast live-tweeting new and “vintage” episodes that helped capture new viewers including Oprah Winfrey, who dedicated an hour of Oprah’s Next Chapter to the series about a fixer and her doomed romance with the president. Airing on Thursdays following Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal has made in-roads among the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 set, topping its lead-in at least once during its second season. For its part, ABC expressed an early vote of confidence, granting the series once eyed as a short-run limited series a la State of Play with an unexpected back-nine pickup, prompting Rhimes to pen a second arc for the season, which is averaging 2.4 in the demo and 7.4 million total viewers.

Send your congrats to Tony Goldwyn.
